Want It: I’m honestly trying not to post jackets, coats, or anything like that, but while it is most definitely titled a coat, this looks more like a dress to me. I wonder if it’s meant to be that way… I’m a complete sucker for bebe fashion, and I know it’s mostly due to how good they are at putting together outfits for consumers to drool over. Seriously, me walking by a bebe store is quite dangerous. I love the cinching at the waist, and the casualness of the coat itself - plus, who doesn’t love a coat that comes in nine different colors (including magenta)?

Want It: So you’ve seen me post what, ten coats? A hundred? Whatever I’m up to, which I know is an overload already, let me post one more… the coat that I actually put down the money to purchase. Granted, I got an incredible deal for this coat, but once I put this coat on, I knew I had to have it. I got the first urge for a white wool coat in the beginning of summer (great timing!), and lo and behold, when I’m not really looking, I find it on my way out of Macy’s last weekend. They were doing orders for their pre-sale, so I said, what the hell, might as well. Much to my shock, this coat came down so discounted I felt like they were giving it away! It retails for $220, and it is on sale for 40% off, plus an additional 10% off if you use your Macy’s card. Plus, shop between now and the 23rd and get $10 Star Rewards for every $50 you spend (20% back!). So not only did the coat price come all the way down to $118.80 from $220, I also got $20 to spend on just abuot anything starting July 24th. Now, you know I need some cute matching shoes for this coat, so… Anyway, why is this coat divine? Because the cut is just amazing. It fits me perfectly and cuts me at the right length and everything. It feels like it was made for me. But trust me, it isn’t just made for me, it’s likely to be made for you, too. When I picked up my order, two women were at the register trying to track down their size in this coat.
P.S. - Here’s a tip, though: if you love it, find one at Macy’s, buy it, even if it’s too big/small - the ladies kept telling the customers that they would get more in later on in the season, and if they purchased now, they could “lock in” the price and just do an exchange when their size was in stock.

Want It: Normally priced at a heart wrenching $248, this price seems a little easier to deal with (but trust me, not by much). It is kind of odd, because I saw this exact same coat (or at least damn near close) by Calvin Klein at Nordie’s today, only in this gorgeous cream color. I have to tell you, I adored in cream, and I adore it in every other color, too. I can’t even begin to tell you how utterly soft the wool was to the touch - just heavenly. I put it on and felt like I was melting into it, and I was wishing for days of cold and rain (snow is out of my wishing range, being from California!) so I would have an excuse to parade around town in this darling coat. I just love the big lapels and simplicity of the style; one loosely tied matching belt and you are ready to go.

Want It: Okay, this coat is a bit pricey, so you probably won’t see me dishing out my limited funds for it, even though I will be happy to drool all over it. The slightly popped up collar is just perfect for this short jacket, and I’m not even a fan of short jackets in general (nor leather for that matter!). Something about this does not scream “bad ass biker chick” and more like “damn sexy goddess.” What I like most about it is how form fitting it is, because it emphasizes my waist and zero focus on my big child-baring hips (ew). The leather is incredibly soft and the coat feels heavenly once you put it on! Oh, it was a rough day, having to look at so many lovely items, trying them, and alas, having to say a tearful goodbye. By the way, did I mention that the regular price for this jacket is $268? Yes, ladies, this is a steal, considering it’s from Nordstrom’s.

Want It: I’m not sure what it is lately, but I am absolutely obsessed with winter coats, especially ones in light colors like cream and white. I don’t remember seeing this beauty when I was at the anniversary sale this morning (I can’t believe I was there at 7:10AM)! I might have scooped this number up if I had. I don’t lovelovelove the fur trimmed collar portion of the piece, but I love the quilted pattern - moderately unusual/unique, at least from what I’ve been seeing. Those buttons and that belt, though, completely make up for any lackluster from the fur collar, most definitely.

Dreaming of Snow: Via Spiga “Belted Walker Coat”

Want It: As a California girl, it is hard to imagine cold enough weather to really warrant a $417 wool coat, even if it isn’t floor-length. The cut is phenomenal, however, which makes it worth looking into, even if it is only for window shopping purposes. I mean, I am welcome to drool every time I walk by it, and it is okay to cuddle up within it before returning it to its hanger, right? The belt is secure and snug, not droopy, which focuses attention on your gorgeous waistline instead of looking like a baggy, heavy winter coat. I’ve always loved a good coat that does not bulk me up like I’m a bear getting ready for hibernation. Tip on this one? Find a knock-off or wait for the season to really start and this to perhaps find its way to a more navigable sale price. Or save up. Where’s my piggy bank?
