Simply Clean: Cetaphil “Gentle Skin Cleanser” @ Drugstore.com
Brand: Cetaphil
Available at: Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser
Price: $10.54 ![]()
Want It: I don’t have a very rigorous or lengthy skin care routine, but I can tell you that the minimum that I do is wash morning and night with Cetaphil’s Gentle Skin Cleanser. I find this to be such an ultra lightweight way to wash away the day’s grime. It’s extremely gentle on the skin, as well as the eyes - it never burns or irritates my eyes, and I have very sensitive eyes! It leaves my skin feeling soft and fresh, which is exactly what I want.
Perfecting A Massage: Lush Cosmetics “Silky Underwear” Dusting Powder
Brand: Lush Cosmetics
Color: White
Available at: Silky Underwear Dusting Powder
Price: $10.45
Want It: As I mentioned in my post on Lush’s Therapy Massage Bar, it was an absolute must to purchase a dusting powder to go along with it to help lock in the moisture from the massage bar. It has an amazing scent, and it really does help keep in the moisturizer from the massage bar, instead of leaving you oily and feeling slick. It is also great to use right after a shower, when your skin is still warm from the water, because the dusting powder melts into your skin, leaving you moisturized and smelling like a dream. Lush describes this product as: “Imagine sensuous jasmine perfume and exotic vetivert dusted lightly over your body with the soft whisper of cocoa butter to gently moisturize. Put some on and you’ll walk around with a smile on your face for the rest of the day.”
Heavenly Massages: Lush “Therapy Massage Bar”
Brand: Lush
Color: Ivory
Available at: Therapy Massage Bar
Price: $7.95
Want It: I’m slowly trying out various Lush products (because I’ve heard so many promising things about the company and its products), and on my recent trip to the local Lush store, I picked up Therapy Massage Bar (and its compliment Silky Underwear dusting powder). According to Lush, “The doctor is in the house. Lavender and neroli soothe the depths of your body and psyche. You may have to tip your masseuse, partner or friend, but it’s the cheapest therapy you’ll ever encounter.” I tested this out on my boyfriend (and yes, I made him return the favor) by using it before giving him a thorough back massage. It really does moisturize like a dream, and it makes massage so much easier because your hands glide over the skin fluidly. You really do need the dusting powder, though, because without it, life is far too oily in the end.
Truly Clean: Lush Cosmetics “Angels On Bare Skin”
Brand: Lush
Color: Green
Available at: Angels on Bare Skin Facial Cleanser
Price: $9.50 (3.5 oz)
Want It: Yes, another divine Lush product, and yes it is another cleanser, too. First, makeup is heavy stuff, and sometimes you just need another round of cleansing to really feel fresh faced. Second, this is a great cleanser for those makeup free days or as part of your morning routine (I wash my face twice daily!). I love the chunky texture of the ground almonds, because I feel my face being exfoliated. A little goes a long way with this product, so unless you are using this daily or more often, I doubt you would breeze through the 3.5 oz (plus, it has a shelf life of only three months, so don’t expect to use this so sparingly and thinly that you can get a year’s usage out of it!).
Goddess Cleanser: Lush Cosmetics “Ultra Bland”

Brand: Lush
Color: Cream
Available at: Ultra Bland Skin Cleanser
Price: $13.50 (1.5 oz)
Want It: I just recently discovered that my favorite local mall had a Lush store installed this past December. The verdict? Oh, great, another burgeoning addiction that isn’t free, sigh! The great part about Lush is that everything is made naturally, orgnically, and the ingredients and products are fresh - and many products even come with expiration dates! I found this cleanser to be excellent in removing daily makeup, including eye makeup, without burning or stinging my eyes during the process. My skin felt clean and soft after rinsing it all off, too!
